The biggest event celebrated each year that draws in thousands of people is none other than Navratri. The nine special nights play a chief role in transforming all your negative energies into positive energies. Let us glimpse through the spiritual science of Navratri.

Do you know that there are four various Navratri festivals in a year? The Vasanta Navratri, Ashad Navratri, Sharad Navratri and Pausha Navratri are th different Navratris. The Sharad Navratri is the familiar one.

Spirituality in Navratri

Do you know that Navratri is associated with nine chakras, equinox, prayers, fasting, nine mantras, virtues, colours, meditation, nature, and festival? Navratri is the spiritual festival of nine nights in India. Navratri is the time to rouse, integrate, and harmonize the nine chakras in the body, mind, and spirit system. The Navratri season associates individual consciousness with auspicious collective consciousness and divine.

Significance of Navratri

The significance of Navratri is intended mainly for the purification of the mind and body. Navratri means winning the good over evil and approval of oneness, and spirit of joy.

Navratri is also an exceptional period of blending with people, reviving old relationships, and creating new relationships. The hormones play a chief role in stimulating our physiological activities and sustain the homeostasis in the body. The above period assists in inner and hormonal transformation in diverse ways.

Effect of Meditation during Navratri

Meditation

Meditation during Navratri eradicates mental toxins such as addiction, anger, attachment, fear, hatred, depression, and anxiety. Celebration with prayer brings in fulfilment, bliss, joy, happiness to lives.

It is during season change that Navratri initiates. These changes in seasons have an impact differently on your spiritual, mental, physical, and emotional level. It is the divine power that helps in maintaining the celestial body movements. This divine power revolves and rotates around the sun resulting in climatic change as well as day and night. We worship the same energy as Mother Goddess.

The nine-day festival of Navratri marks importance for Goddess Durga. The purification of nadis and chakras happens during Navratri. Goddess Durga, the mother of creations, compassion, and Devotion, is the cosmic mother for all beings. Goddess predicts the three worlds, known as the transcendental Cosmic world, the mental world, and the gross physical world. Goddess exists in every atom in the world in the form of consciousness, energy, and material. Let us take a look into the spiritual science of Navratri.

Equinox and Navratri As the sun are directly in line with the equator, an equinox occurs, meaning equal nights. During an equinox, identical day and night occur. We also experience 12 hours of night and day. For twice a year, we notice a tilted globe axis, giving equal night and day at all latitudes.

Daylight and Navratri

Do you know that mammals and humans have an internal clock? The internal clock takes responsibility for the sleep-wake cycles of everyday functions. It is the light resetting our internal clock, and our body sync with the day time. We gain non-visual cue with light such as alertness, heart rate modulation, melatonin levels, and dilation.

Out circadian rhythms are reset by the light receptors in the eye’s retina. The Navratri is a period where human biological cycles and circadian rhythms change and readjust. Meditation and fasting during Navratri purify the nadis and chakras in the body.

Purification cycles

Three purification cycles are happening during Navratri.

Cycle 1: The first cycle is the purification of the physical world. The pattern is associated with the vital energy body and physical body. Hence, fasting during Navratri cleanses the significant energy body and physical body.

Cycle 2: The second cycle is the purification of emotions. The second rhythm is associated with the astral body or subtle body. Prayer and fasting during Cycle 2 help to remove emotional knots.

Nine ChakCycle 3: The third cycle ismind purification to the deepest level. By following Cycle 3, we isolate ourselves from false beliefs, restrict us from perception, and evade opening ourselves to the depth of self. Cycle 3 is associated with the purification of the spiritual/casual and mental body.

 The awakening of nine chakras

Nine Chakras

The human body has nine chakras. There are two chakras outside and seven chakras inside the body. Do you know chakras are energy vortexes or energy centres of the body? All the nine chakras line the vertical central axis of the human body. All these chakras represent consciousness and divine power.

It is during the Navratri period, harmonization and integration of internal and external energy centres happen. A good piece of advice would be to know the laws of chakra balancing, grounding, opening, closing, and connecting. Moving to crowded locations with negative chakras is not a good idea.

The nine days of Navratri also practice discipline in humans. They bring about the purification of an individual. Fasting, meditation during Navratri results in mindfulness, detoxification, self-discipline, and cleansing.

The Inward Flight that abolishes of Negative Karma

Navratri means the celebration of prana or spirit. Only this spirit has the power to destroy pride, shame, inertia, and aversion to a great extent. Humans overcome deep negativities, inertia, blurred vision, unreasonable logistics, and obsessions by enhancing the life-force energy.

Attaining an accurate source is possible through meditation, silence, prayer, and fasting. The Navratri nights bring in rejuvenation. They offer relief in casual, subtle, and physical levels of existence. Silence gives rest to the chattering mind, purifies speech, fasting detoxifies the body, and meditation takes you to your being.

Navratri is time for transformation into a rejuvenated form to recreate multiple times. The creation is not linear, cyclical, and a cycle of modification happens. Navratri is a celebration of the victory of good over evil. But, openly, success is an absolute reality over apparent duality.

Final thoughts

Navratri is a spirit of celebration that explores new horizons of developing in-depth understanding and divinity of divine cosmic reality and humans. Goddess Durga, the universal Cosmic Mother, brings in happiness and blessing to your complete family.

Celebrate Navratri with extreme passion and experience the glorious inner power and energy. Purify yourself by eradicating the negative energies and sustaining positive life.
